Love – Background stamp panel heat embossed on vellum

Hello friends! Thank you so much for stopping by this blog post. I have rather been smitten with all the love cards and Valentine’s Day these days. I broke up my Simon Says Stamp Flora background stamp and stamped it on vellum using Versamark Watermark Ink Pad and heat embossed in gold. I created a watercolored red panel using my Mijello Mission Gold watercolors for the background and mounted the embossed panel on the watercolored panel.

I die cut love using Love die and a piece of Lipstick Red cardstock and the shadow using vellum. I added some twine and mounted the love die cut on the heat embossed vellum panel. The sentiment was heat embossed on black cardstock using white embossing powder. The sentiment is from the Essential Sentiments from MFT Stamps.

I trimmed a card base from Neenah Desert Storm 100 lb cardstock to be 5.5 inches by 5 inches and mounted all the elements on it using foam tape and liquid glue.

That’s all for this card. Thank you so much for stopping by! Have a great day!
