Season’s Greetings – Sweater Background

Hello friends! Thank you so much for stopping by today to read this blog post! It’s getting chilly where I stay and I am all for Winter cards at the moment. I used the Sweater Background stamp from Simon Says Stamp because it reminds me of the sweaters my grandmother used to knit for us when we were kids. I stamped the background on a piece of Ivory cardstock using Schoolhouse Red and Evergreen Dye inks and ink between did some gold embossing. All this was achieved by masking and unmasking as I went.

I die cut Season’s Greetings multiple times and layered it and heat embossed in Rose Gold. I added a strip of vellum and mounted it on top of it with some natural twine and a red enamel dot.

I mounted all the elements on a 5.5 inch by 5 inch card base made from Schoolhouse Red cardstock. That finished my card off.

Love the results. Thank you so much for stopping by this post. I wish you a wonderful day!
