Miss You – DIY Roses Patterned Paper

Hi friends! Thank you so much for stopping by to read this post. This was actually made for a past Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge where the theme was – Make Your Own Background. I love experimenting with stamps and making a background using one single stamp. For this I started with the roses from the Best Mom Ever stamp set and stamped it multiple times on an A2 sized copic friendly panel using SSS Intense Black Ink. Then, I came in and colored it all in using my copic markers.

For the hearts, I used some patterned paper and some gold cardstock and the Outside in Stitched Stackable Hearts and the Lacy Heart Stackables from Lawn Cuts and cut them out and layered them together using foam tape. I die cut Miss You four times using white cardstock and stuck them together using liquid glue. I added a strip of vellum around the hearts and stuck Miss You on top.

I gave the bottom half of the panel a break with the Lacy edges die, and using a similar piece of white cardstock in between and added some twine around it. I layered some green cardstock under the copic colored panel and adhered all the elements on top of a top folding A2 sized white card base. I added some Clear Confetti from Studio Katia to finish it off.

Thank you so much for stopping by this post.

Have a lovely day!
