Heat Embossed Watercoloring – Bouquet of Thanks

Hello! Thank you so much for stopping by to read this blog post. I have never attempted watercoloring in my life and it is my first attempt ever. I started by stamping off the Bouquet of Thanks floral stamp on some cold pressed watercolor panel and got some watercoloring in with my Gansai Tambi.

I also loosely colored another small panel with the same blue of the flowers and die cut the word Love and the sentiment, which is from the SSS Love Stamp set, onto a piece of black cardstock using Versamark Watermark Ink pad and heat embossed using White Embossing Powder. The shadow for the die cut Love was done using Gold Mirror cardstock.

I trimmed a piece of fog cardstock to A2 size and stamped the background stamp You Matter with Fog dye ink. I added some twine to the watercolor panel, and stuck the entire panel on the fog panel and attached it altogether to top folding A2 sized card base.

I added some color coordinating sequins to add some interest and complete the card.

That is all for this card. I hope you like it!

Have a great day!
