Simon Says Stamp – You’re a Star – Watercolored Galaxy

Hi everyone! Thank you for stopping by this post! I love painting galaxies. They are my go to when I am feeling anxious or stressing out in general. I started by painting two galaxies on two separate pieces of cold pressed watercolor paper. I die cut the galaxies using Puffy Star Stackables from Lawn Cuts.

I cut two panels of cardstock from Neenah Solar White Classic Crest 110 lb and Neenah Desert storm cardstock and using the star constellations from Seeing Stars stamp set I stamped the background using Fog dye ink on white and Versamark Watermark on kraft. The panels were 4.5 inch by 4.5 inch in size.

Using doll pink and green apple cardstock I cut two more panels slightly bigger and drew dotted lines to create a frame. Using the die You’re A Star I die cut white and kraft cardstock and placed them onto the stars using liquid glue.

The sentiments were embossed in white on Doll Pink and Green Apple cardstock strips using versamark watermark ink pads.

I adhered everything onto two 5 inch by 5 inch card bases created with Neenah Solar White Classic Crest 110 lb and Neenah Desert Storm cardstock.

That finishes off both the cards.

I hope you like the cards! Have a fun day and thank you so much for stopping by!
