Happy Birthday – Acetate Heat Embossing – Shaker Card

Hi friends! There are times I want to take a break from coloring altogether. Sometimes because I don’t have the time but other times mostly because I need a change. So this time, I used the background stamp to make an acetate shaker card.

I stamped the image from the Cosmos Background stamp set onto some clear acetate using Versmark Watermark Ink pad and heat embossed it using White Embossing powder. On a separate sheet of Bristol Smooth cardstock I ink blended a blue ombre pattern using Tumbled Glass and Faded Jeans inks.

Using the Framed Tags Park Avenue Creative Cuts from Mama Elephant I cut the panel, stuck the middle part onto an A2 sized side folding card base made from Neenah Desert Storm 100 lb cardstock and added foam tape on all four sides. I stuck the acetate to the frame and added sequins to the panel which had foam tape on all sides.

I placed the front panel with acetate window on top, closing the shaker. The sentiment is from Pretty Pink Posh Birthday Friends stamped onto a piece of Neenah Solar White Classic Crest 80 lb cardstock and heat embossed using Silver Embossing powder. I used a stitched banners die to cut it and placed it on top of the card, with some metallic twine twirled behind it.

Very easy and quick! That’s all for this card. Hope you like it!

Have a beautiful day!
