Hello friends! Hope everyone is having a great week! I have been seriously addicted to watercoloring off late and have been trying different techniques and ideas and finding my comfort zone and then stepping out of it at times as well. That is the best way to learn and explore and then learn more along the way as you keep making mistakes and rectifying them.
This particular card is very close to my heart because I really love the way it came out. I have to say this is my most favorite in my stash, if you were to make me choose one. For this card I took the Pretty Pink Posh Cherry Blossoms stamp set and stamped it onto some 300 gsm cold pressed watercolor paper using the Antique Linen Distress Ink. Then I watercolored the flowers using the Daniel Smith Quinacridone Coral and Sap Green Watercolors. I found these two colors on Daniel Smith Debby Hughes Palette and have loved them ever since.
For the Wreath I made it out of the Spellbinders Wreath Etched Dies by Lene Lok. The sentiment is stamped on the SSS Black Cardstock using the Versamark Watermark ink pad and white heat embossed it using the Ranger Embossing Powder Super Fine White. The sentiment is from the Pretty Pink Posh Bee Friend Stamp set.
I adhered all the elements onto the Tim Holtz Distress Woodgrain Cardstock and then onto some patterned paper which matched the color theme of this entire card.
I finished the card off with some Pretty Pink Posh Sparkling Clear Seed Beads. I hope you like this card. Have a great day! 🙂
