Simon Says Stamp Sending Sunshine – Copics on Vellum – Stained Glass

Hi dear friends! Thank you for taking the time out to read this blog post. This is the third card I made for the Simon Says Stamp Sending Sunshine release, and I used the Marilyn full card die to create a stained glass panel look with some copics on vellum.

For this card, I started by die cutting a Neenah Solar White 110 lb panel and then gold heat embossing it using the Ultra Fine Gold Embossing Powder from Simon Says Stamp. I stuck the heat embossed panel onto some 40 lb vellum and colored the back side using copic markers. I used shades of blue violet, olive green and sunshine yellow. I tuned out the background using toner grays.

I scored a top folding A2 card with some NSW 110 lb cardstock and stuck the vellum panel on top of the card. I stamped the sentiment, which is from the Bouquet of Thanks stamp set from Simon Says Stamp, using the Blue Violet dye ink from Simon Says Stamp.

This card was very easy and fast to make and it looks gorgeous in real life! I hope you liked the card I made. Thank you so much for stopping by to read this post and have a great day!
