Alcohol Ink-tensification – Heat Embossed Vellum Florals

Hi friends! I have another card that I really wanted to try out and I am pretty glad with the way it turned out.

I started by taking a panel of yupo paper and did some alcohol ink blending and then while the ink was still wet I placed the Stained Glass stencil and added more ink. Without lifting the stencil I let it dry and then once dry I lifted it off. I got a very intense pattern and it looks just gorgeous in real life.

For the floral images, I stamped the flowers from Even More Spring Flowers stamp set on some vellum and heat embossed using WOW Bright Opaque White powder. I die cut the images using coordinating dies. I trimmed the alcohol ink panel to 4 inches by 5.25 inches and placed the flowers on it. I die cut the sentiment using Happy Birthday wafer die four times using regular white cardstock and stacked the die cuts together for some dimension.

I adhered the whole panel on top of an A2 sized top folding card made from Neenah Solar White Classic Crest 110 lb cardstock. I finished the card off with some gold sequins.

That’s all for this card. I hope you liked it!

Have a lovely day and thank you so much for stopping by.
