Hello Friends! Hope everyone is having a great day!
Please join me in this week’s challenge at the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge .
Fun In The Sun
We are showcasing Mama Elephant products this week. You don’t have to use them to join in but if you have some we would love to see them used.
As always, Simon Says Stamp will be giving away a $50 gift Vouches for the Simon Says Stamp Store to one randomly selected winner!
Here is my card for the inspiration.
I made an interactive card using the floating floor interactive card to go with the theme. For the front panel, I took a piece of Bristol Smooth cardstock and trimmed it to 4.25 inches by 5.5 inches. Using a radiating rays stencil, I did some ink blending for the background. I used squeezed lemonade and wild honey distress inks for the sun rays and tumbled glass distress ink for the sky. Using the Framed Tags Chelsea Die Creative Cuts, I trimmed the panel. I took another panel of Bristol Smooth cardstock and ink blended some Mowed Lawn distress ink with splatters of water and trimmed it with the same die. Using the Simply Grassy Hillside Lawn Cuts, I trimmed the green panel and adhered it on top of the panel with radiating sun rays using foam tape. Before adhering, I stamped the sentiment, which is from Fly With Me stamp set from Mama Elephant.
For the clouds, I die cut a piece of Neenah Solar White 110 lb cardstock with Simon Says Stamp Picture Book Sky Background Die and placed the clouds with some foam tape. I stamped the images from the Stamp Sets, Little Girl Agenda and Little Boy Agenda onto some copic friendly cardstock and colored it in with my copic markers. I die cut the images with the coordinating dies and placed them on the front panel with some foam tape. I trimmed a piece of patterned paper using Mama Elephant Basic Rectangles Creative Cuts and stuck it to a side folding A2 sized card base. I stuck the ink blended panel on top with some foam tape to add dimension.
For the inside of the card, where the floating floor is placed, I trimmed a piece of Bristol Smooth cardstock and ink blended some clouds using Tumbled Glass distress ink and Simon Says Stamp Clouds for Days stencil. I die cut the sun from Mama Elephant Stitched Sky Die Creative Cuts and colored it in with my copic markers. The images, which are from the stamp sets, In My Heart from Mama Elephant and Summer Cuddly Critters from Simon Says Stamp, were stamped onto a piece of copic friendly cardstock and colored in using copic markers. I made the swimming pool but cutting a piece of bristol smooth paper and ink blending it with Tumbled Glass and Peacock Feathers Distress ink and giving it a white frame. I fussy cut the images and placed them so that they appear to be in the pool enjoying. The clouds are from the same die I used from the front panel.
The sentiment, which is from Carried Away stamp set from Mama Elephant was stamped on a piece of Neenah Solar White 110 lb cardstock using Versafine Onyx Black ink and trimmed down.
That’s all for this card. I hope you liked the card I made.
