You Are Loved – Loose Watercolored Background

Sometimes I just feel like playing with different color combinations and keeping the elements on my card to a bare minimum.

For this card, I started off with a piece of Arches cold pressed watercolor paper and loosely colored the background using Daniel Smith Quinacridone Coral watercolor paint. I did the glazing technique. I trimmed the panel using Wonky rectangles die.

I stamped the wreath from the wreath from Wreath Greetings stamp set using Barely Beige dye ink and did some no line coloring using my Faber Castell Polychromos. After I was done coloring I die cut the image using the coordinating dies.

For the sentiment I die cut the words You Are from the You Are My Sunshine wafer die using gold glitter cardstock and loved from the All My Love stamp set onto a piece of black cardstock using Versamark Watermark Ink pad and heat embossed using white embossing powder.

I arranged all the elements togethet and placed the panel on top of an A2 sized top folding card base made from Neenah Desert Storm 100 lb cardstock.

I finished the card off with some gold and clear sequins.

That’s all for this card. I hope you enjoyed reading about it as much as I enjoyed making it!

Have a lovely day and thank you so much for stopping by.
