Hello Friends! Hope everyone is having a great day!
Please join me in this week’s challenge at the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge .
Use A Die and/or Punch
We are showcasing Birch Press Design products this week. You don’t have to use them to join in but if you have some we would love to see them used.
Here are my cards for the inspiration.
For me Birch Press Designs is about elegance. So, keeping that in mind and with a few colors, I tried to keep the cards very minimal. That is just my perception of this brand.
I took two panels. One Neenah Solar White Classic Crest 110 lb and other Bristol Smooth cardstock. I ran the first through Layer C of the Butterfly Garden Plate Layer Set and stuck it on a top folding A2 sized cardstock.
For the second panel, I ink blended some distress inks, Seedless Preserves, Wilted Violet, Picked Raspberry and Tattered Rose, starting from the bottom. Then, I ran it through Layer B of the set. I ran another piece of cardstock through layer B and placed it slightly towards the left so that it gives it a dimensional feel. I adhered this panel on top of a top folding A2 sized Neenah Desert Storm 100 lb cardstock.
I didn’t want to waste the butterflies that were left after die cutting, I pinched them from the centre and adhered the ink blended ones on white panel and white ones on ink blended panel.
I cut the Hugs sentiment with an oval die and made a banner out of Thank You and attached them both onto the cards using foam tape.
I finished the cards with some clear confetti sequins from Studio Katia.
That’s all for these cards. I hope you liked the card I made.
So now it’s YOUR turn. Happy Crafting!
You have until Wed 8 a.m. Ohio time, 1 p.m. UK time and 2 p.m. CET to join in.
New creations only, please don’t link projects published before to start of the challenge.
