Hello Friends! Hope everyone is having a great day!
Please join me in this week’s challenge at the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge .
We are showcasing Art Impressions products this week. You don’t have to use them to join in but if you have some we would love to see them used.
Here is my card for the inspiration.
Sometimes it is fun to make cards that have a little quirk and humor them. I kept this card simple. I used the Maturing Set Front and Back cling rubber stamps from Art Impressions. To begin, I stamped the image on copic friendly cardstock using Intense Black ink.
I colored the images using copic markers. I fussy cut them and outlined them with black marker so that I don’t see white edges upon cutting. I took an A2 sized side folding card and cut a window using rectangle stax dies. I placed a piece of acetate to cover it up. On the front panel, I cut a green polka dot patterned paper that was A2 size and also cut a window through it and placed it on top using tape runner. I foam mounted fog cardstock, which had similar size window cut on the patterned paper panel.
I framed the image with a scalloped border frame. I placed the front and back completely aligned and stuck them using some liquid adhesive. On the inner panel, I stamped the abstract background stamp using fog dye ink onto some Neenah Solar White 80 lb cardstock and die cut it using similar rectangles stax die set.
I hope you liked the card I made.
So now it’s YOUR turn. Happy Crafting!
You have until Wed 8 a.m. Ohio time, 1 p.m. UK time and 2 p.m. CET to join in.
New creations only, please don’t link projects published before to start of the challenge.
