Hi friends! Thank you so much for stopping by. I am in love with the Mandy’s Flowers stamp set from Simon Says Stamp August Card Kit. There are so many beautiful images and you can use a variety of mediums to color them in.
I started by taking the tulips in a pot and stamped it onto a piece of Cold Pressed Watercolor paper using Antique Linen Distress Ink and did some no line coloring using my Daniel Smith Watercolors. I created a scene by lightly sketching a window pane and a shelf on which the pot is placed.
After watercoloring, I die cut the panel using Wonky Rectangles die and added some natural twine towards the bottom. I stamped and embossed the sentiment on vellum using Versamark Watermark Ink pad and Gold Embossing powder.
The second part of the sentiment was stamped onto a piece of white cardstock using Simon Says Stamp Intense Black ink.
I placed the entire panel on an A2 sized top folding card base made from Neenah Solar White Classic Crest 110 lb cardstock.
That finished off the card! I hope you liked the card I made. Thank you so much for stopping by.
Have a lovely day!
