Hello Friends! Hope everyone is having a great day!
Please join me in this week’s challenge at the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge .
Food and/or Drink
We are showcasing Neat and Tangled products this week. You don’t have to use them to join in but if you have some we would love to see them used.
Here is my card for the inspiration.
I used the S’More Fun stamp set. Even though it was released around Valentine’s Day, I improvised the set to make a birthday card.
I used the Tiny Triangles and Itty Bitty Welcoming Committee stamp sets too for this card. To start off, I took a piece of Bristol Smooth cardstock and stamped the triangles around it using Antique Linen distress ink to make a background. Next I blended in the ink to give it a rustic feel. Eventually I cut the piece using Wonky Rectangles die (you see me using this frame die the most!).
I used the woodgrain wafer die and cut a piece of white cardstock. I stamped the images from the S’More Fun stamp set and Itty Bitty Welcoming Committee using InkOn Blackout Hybrid Ink Pad on some copic friendly cardstock. I have used Memento Tuxedo until now but I was not happy with the ink pad drying out faster than I would prefer. I colored the images with my copic markers.
I adhered the panel, with some red twine around the centre and the woodgrain wafer die and the fussy cut images all placed on top on a piece of A2 sized side folding card.
That’s all for this card. I hope you liked it!
So now it’s YOUR turn. Happy Crafting!
You have until Wed 8 a.m. Ohio time, 1 p.m. UK time and 2 p.m. CET to join in.
New creations only, please don’t link projects published before to start of the challenge.
