Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge – Anything Goes – Stampendous – No Line Watercoloring Against Dark Background

wed-newchallenge-header

Hello Friends! Hope everyone is having a great day!

Please join me in this week’s challenge at the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge .

This week the challenge is

Anything Goes

We are showcasing Stampendous products this week. You don’t have to use them to join in but if you have some we would love to see them used.

As always, Simon Says Stamp will be giving away a $50 gift Vouches for the Simon Says Stamp Store to one randomly selected winner!

Here is my card for the inspiration.

I started off with the 5 inch by 7 inch panel of cold pressed watercolor paper and stamped the images from the Fresh Peony stamp set using Antique Linen Distress Ink and colored them in using my Mijello Mission Gold Watercolors. I added some paint and white gouache splatters to add some interest. After watercoloring was done I trimmed the piece of by a quarter of an inch lengthwise and breadthwise.

I took an A7 sized top folding card base made from Neenah Desert Storm 100 lb cardstock and foam mounted the panel and added some twine around.

I stamped the sentiment from Uplifting Sentiments set on a piece of white cardstock using Versamark watermark ink pad and heat embossed using Rose Gold embossing powder.

I fussy cut the sentiment out.

I completed the card with some gold sequins. That’s all for this card. I hope you liked it.

So now it’s YOUR turn. Happy Crafting!

You have until Wed 8 a.m. Ohio time, 1 p.m. UK time and 2 p.m. CET to join in.

New creations only, please don’t link projects published before to start of the challenge.
