Hello crafty friends! We have a new challenge on the Wow Embossing Powder Fans Group over at Facebook and the theme for this month is Metallics.
I was going through my stash of different embossing powders I have from WOW and I came across Perissa Embossing Powder. It is an absolute beauty. Love at first sight for me if you must know. The texture and the variation in colors using copper, silver and gold is just lovely.
The card otherwise was fairly simple to make. I die cut the leafy frame die four times and stacked it all together and using the WOW Embossing Pad I added two layers of Perissa Embossing powder and heated it up to get the gorgeous faux metallic frame.
Using Doll Pink cardstock I die cut the word happy four times and stacked it all together and adhered it to a white die cut shadow. I took an A2 sized panel of Soft Navy cardstock and scored it diagonally to give it a quilted look. I adhered the metallic frame and the die cut sentiment onto it. I added the sentiment ‘You Make Me’ stamped on a white piece of cardstock using Soft Navy ink.
I adhered the whole frame on an A2 sized top folding card base made from Neenah Solar White Classic Crest 110 lb cardstock.
That is all for this card. I hope you enjoyed reading about it as much as I enjoyed making it.
Have a lovely day, friends!
