Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge -Stamp it for STAMPtember®

Hello Friends! Hope everyone is having a great day!

Please join me in this week’s challenge at the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge .

This week the challenge is

Stamp it for STAMPtember®

We are showcasing our very own Simon Says Stamp products this week. You don’t have to use them to join in but if you have some we would love to see them used.

As always, Simon Says Stamp will be giving away a $50 gift Vouches for the Simon Says Stamp Store to one randomly selected winner!

Here are my cards for the inspiration.

I made a cute little birthday card using the Birthday Numbers stamp set and coordinating die set. I did loads of masking in the background to make everything in one layer with number 1 popped up. I started by taking a copic friendly cardstock panel sized 4.5 inches by 4.5 inches and stamped the cupcake and gift image and masked them off. Then, I stamped the balloons and masked them off as well.

Using the Circle Sayings stamp set I stamped Happy Birthday using Teeny Bikini, Maliblue, Green Apple and Duckling dye inks. I stamped stars using the same ink inside the circle. I removed the masks and colored the images in using my copic markers.

I stamped the number one on a separate piece of copic friendly paper and colored it in as well. I took a bright orange colored patterned paper and Audrey Blue cardstock and layered them all together. I added some glossy accents on the balloons and sequins from the Hello Summer collection. I adhered it all onto a 5 inch by 5 inch top folding card base. I stamped the sentiment on a piece of black cardstock using Versamark Watermark ink pad and heat embossed it in white.

That’s all for the first card!

The second card is me stepping out of my comfort zone. I rarely use black and bold bright colors but there is always a first time, right? I stamped all the numbers using Inkon 3 Blackout hybrid ink and also stamped the smaller images which are a part of the stamp set inside the numbers. I colored it all in using my copic markers using touches of Polychromos where the copic nibs were too big. I die cut all the numbers using the coordinating die set. I took a piece of cardstock sized 4 inches by 5. 25 inches and arranged the numbers on top.

I stuck 1,2,3,4,5 and 6 together and stuck it to the top using strips of paper. I stuck the rest of the numbers together stuck them to the bottom part of the panel using strips of paper again. I got a gatefold kind of opening. I stamped the Deco Diamonds background stamp on a piece of black cardstock using Versamark Watermark ink pad and heat embossed using clear embossing powder. I stuck the panel on the inside.

I stamped a cat from Encouraging Animals set and balloons from Birthday Numbers on a piece of copic friendly cardstock and colored them all in using copic markers. I fussy cut the card and attached the balloons so that it appears as if the cat is holding them and placed the images on the black heat embossed panel.

I stamped the sentiment on strips of black cardstock using Versamark Watermark ink and heat embossed using white embossing powder.

That’s all for this card.

I hope you liked both the cards I made!
