Hello Friends! Hope everyone is having a great day!
Please join me in this week’s challenge at the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge .
We are showcasing Hello Bluebird products this week. You don’t have to use them to join in but if you have some we would love to see them used.
Here are my cards for the inspiration.
I am going to talk about the Acetate Easel Card first. I started by stamping out the cute little critters from Woodland Littles Stamp set onto a piece of copic friendly cardstock and colored them in using copic markers.
I die cut the birch trees using white cardstock and added a little depth to them using my grey copic markers. I colored the leaves of the birch trees, again using my copics. I die cut the clouds from the puffy cloud dienamics and grass using green leaf cardstock and grassy hillside borders die from lawncuts. I die cut all the copic colored images using coordinating dies.
For the assembly, I took a top folding A2 card base made from Neenah Solar White Classic Crest 110 lb cardbase and attached a bristol smooth panel, distressed and splattered with tumbled glass distress oxide ink and die cut using Rectangle Stax.
I scored the front panel at around 1.5 inches from the bottom so that I can bend it into an easel. I cut a same size acetate panel and adhered all the elements onto using liquid glue and foam tape.
That is all for this card. Easy peasy but oh so cutie.
Let’s get all Christmassy now because Christmas is oh so trending and oh so fun! I started by stamping all the images from Frosty Friends onto a piece of copic friendly cardstock and colored the images in using my copic markers. The animals stacked on top of each other is done with a bit of masking paper and stamping them one at a time. I fussy cut the images. The sentiments were stamped using Versmark watermark ink pad and heat embossing using WOW Bluetiful and Silver Embossing powders.
I used the waves dies and ink blended some tumbled glass and used Green Pearl and Sparkling Snow embossing glitter mixed together for the snowy texture. The background is Black Soot, Abandoned Coral, Picked Raspberry, Tattered Rose and Antique Linen distress oxides with splatters of white gouache.
I used the Gallery Frame 1 Die Set and cut a panel of Neenah Desert Storm 100 lb cardstock using it. Everything was trimmed down and placed on a top folding A2 sized top folding card base. I adhered all the elements using foam tape and liquid glue.
That’s all for my cards. I hope you liked the cards I made.
