Hello Friends! Hope everyone is having a great day!
Please join me in this week’s challenge at the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge .
We are showcasing Simon Says Stamp exclusive products this week. You don’t have to use them to join in but if you have some we would love to see them used.
Here is my card for the inspiration.
I did some no line watercoloring for my card this time. I love the Sketched Flowers stamp set which was a part of the Simon Says Stamp October Card kit. To start, I took a panel of cold pressed watercolor paper and trimmed it to 7 inches wide and 3.5 inches long and stamped the image using Antique Linen Distress ink.
Using my Daniel Smith watercolors, I did some no line coloring. I chose a rather muted and pastel palette for my card this time. For the sentiment, which is from the same stamp set, I stamped it on a piece of vellum using Versamark Watermark Ink and heat embossed using Rose Gold Embossing Powder.
I took a top folding card base which was about 7.5 inches wide and 4 inches long and made from Neenah Desert Storm 100 lb cardstock. I attached the vellum and the watercolored panel onto it using some foam tape and finished it off with some sequins.
That’s all for my card. I hope you liked the card I made.
So now it’s YOUR turn. Happy Crafting!
You have until Wed 8 a.m. Ohio time, 1 p.m. UK time and 2 p.m. CET to join in.
