Hello Friends! Hope everyone is having a great day!
Please join me in this week’s challenge at the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge .
All That Glitters Is Gold
We are showcasing Lawn Fawn products this week. You don’t have to use them to join in but if you have some we would love to see them used.
Here is my card for the inspiration.
When I think of glitter first thing that pops in my mind is glitter snowflakes. And I just wanted an opportunity to use my Gold Glitter Paper. I used the fun Winter Skies and Snowy Backdrop stamps for this card. I started by taking a panel of Bristol Smooth cardstock to make the winter sky using Tumbled Glass, Faded Jeans, Blueprint Sketch and Black Soot Distress Oxide inks. I die cut a piece of masking paper using a small circle die and placed it where I would want my moon to be. After ink blending I removed the masking paper and using some white pigment ink on it.
I stamped the trees and the Santa on a sleigh using Black Soot Distress Ink. I die cut white ring using MFT Stitched Circle Frames Die-Namics and created snowy slopes using hillside border dies and Snowflake Tinsel powder from Ranger. I die cut the snowflakes, which are Rina from Simon and Stylish Snowflakes from MFT stamps using white cardstock, vellum and gold glitter cardstock and stuck it around the ring using liquid glue.
I stamped the images on a piece of copic friendly cardstock and colored them all in using my copic markers. I stamped the sentiment on a piece of red cardstock using Versamark Watermark Ink Pad and heat embossed in white. I trimmed the woodgrain cardstock to 5 inches by 5 inches and placed all the elements on it.
I placed the panel on a 5 inch by 5 inch top folding card base made from Neenah Solar White Classic Crest cardstock.
I used some gold jewels around the snowflakes. That completed my card.
That’s all for my card. I hope you liked the card I made.
