Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge – Christmas – Creative Expressions – White Christmas with a Festive Floral Wreath

wed-newchallenge-header

Hello Friends! Hope everyone is having a great day!

Please join me in this week’s challenge at the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge .

This week the challenge is

Christmas

We are showcasing Creative Expressions products this week. You don’t have to use them to join in but if you have some we would love to see them used.

As always, Simon Says Stamp will be giving away a $50 gift Vouches for the Simon Says Stamp Store to one randomly selected winner!

Here is my card for the inspiration.

I used the absolutely gorgeous Bixby Wreath die with the Stacked Merry Christmas. I started ink blending two panels of cardstock, one with Merlot Dye Ink and one with Green Apple Dye Ink. I die cut a panel of white cardstock using Scalloped Basic Edges die and gave it a gold glitter paper edging. For the base panel, I stamped Gingham Background on a piece of A2 sized cardstock with Barely Beige Dye Ink

For the die cut sentiment, I cut stacked Merry Christmas twice, once with white glitter cardstock and second with kraft cardstock. I created a shadow with kraft cardstock by adhering them in a slightly displaced manner.

I die cut the wreaths using the Merlot and Green Apple panels and foam mounted the leaves and flowers on the scalloped border panel. I adhered all the elements together on a top folding A2 sized card base made from Neenah Desert Storm 100 lb cardstock. That finished off the card.

I hope you liked the card.

So now it’s YOUR turn. Happy Crafting!

You have until Wed 8 a.m. Ohio time, 1 p.m. UK time and 2 p.m. CET to join in.

New creations only, please don’t link projects published before to start of the challenge.
