Hello Friends! Hope everyone is having a great day!
Please join me in this week’s challenge at the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge . This week the challenge is
Card + Matching Envelope
We are showcasing We R Memory Keepers products this week. You don’t have to use them to join in but if you have some we would love to see them used.
Here is my card for the inspiration.
I love lined envelopes. So I thought of making one for this challenge. To start, I stamped the image from the Beautiful Flowers 2 stamp set onto a piece of Arches Cold Pressed Watercolor Paper using some Antique Linen Distress Ink and did some no line watercoloring using my Daniel Smith watercolors.
After I was done coloring, I trimmed the panel to be 4.25 inches wide and about 3 inches tall. I die cut a piece of Neenah Desert Storm 100 lb cardstock using Woodgrain die. I took an A2 sized top folding card base made from Neenah Desert Storm 100 lb cardstock and foam mounted both the woodgrain background panel and the watercolored panel on it. I added some twine with the sentiment tag, with Happy Birthday embossed in white on a kraft tag on it.
To finish the card off I added some gold sequins. That’s all for this card. I hope you liked the card I made.
So now it’s YOUR turn. Happy Crafting!
You have until Wed 8 a.m. Ohio time, 1 p.m. UK time and 2 p.m. CET to join in.
New creations only, please don’t link projects published before to start of the challenge.
