Hello Friends! Hope everyone is having a great day!
Please join me in this week’s challenge at the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge . This week the challenge is
Have A Heart
We are showcasing MFT Stamps products this week. You don’t have to use them to join in but if you have some we would love to see them used.
Here is my card for the inspiration.
How about some friendship love? Nothing like it! I adore this stamp set from MFT Stamps, which does just that. I started by using the die cutting an A2 sized white cardstock with the Full of Hearts background die. Since this die does not cut at the edges I extended it so that I can get full coverage landscape style.
I used the Stitched Rounded Stax die set and cut another piece of white cardstock and ink blended the sky, the setting sun and the road on it using the traditional distress inks. I used Tumbled Glass for the sky, Squeezed Lemonade and Spiced Marmalade for the setting sun and Black Soot and Iced Spruce for the road. Using a white gel pen I drew the divider lines on the road.
I stamped the images from the Friends At First Sip stamp set onto some copic friendly cardstock and colored the images in using my copic markers. After I was done coloring, I fussy cut the images out. You can use the co-ordinating dies as well if you prefer. They were pretty easy to cut by hand. Using the Spring Scene Builder Die set, I cut the grass using some green cardstock.
I foam mounted all the elements on a side folding A2 sized white card base.
I love how the scene is framed by hearts of friendship!
That’s all for this card. I hope you liked the card I made.
So now it’s YOUR turn. Happy Crafting!
