Hello Friends! Hope everyone is having a great day!
Please join me in this week’s challenge at the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge . This week the challenge is
We are showcasing Impression Obsession products this week. You don’t have to use them to join in but if you have some we would love to see them used.
Here is my card for the inspiration.
I used the Fancy Love Cling stamp and did some watercoloring this time using cute little owls from Warm and Feathered stamp set. I started by taking an A2 sized cold pressed watercolor paper panel and stamped one owl towards the lower part of the panel using Antique Linen Distress Ink and using mirror stamping technique stamped the other owl right next to it.
I watercolored the owls using my Mijello Mission Gold watercolors. I sketched the hearts and watercolored them in as well. On the top panel, I used the traditional distress inks, Worn Lipstick, Dried Marigold and Spun Sugar and did some ink smooshing.
For the sentiment, I heat embossed a part of the sentiment, which is from the same sentiment on a black cardstock strip and gold heat embossed it. I took the Love rubber stamp and stamped on the top portion using clear embossing ink and white heat embossed it.
I added the bow to the female owl from the Birthday Numbers stamp set, again stamped on cold pressed watercolor panel using Antique Linen distress ink and no line watercolored.
I foam mounted the panel and the sentiment strip on an A2 sized top folding card base made from Neenah Desert Storm 100 lb cardstock.
That’s all for this card. I hope you liked the card I made.
