Hello Friends! Hope everyone is having a great day!
Please join me in this week’s challenge at the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge . This week the challenge is
No Designer Paper
We are showcasing Picket Fence Studios products this week. You don’t have to use them to join in but if you have some we would love to see them used.
The lovely folks over at Simon Says Stamp are generously giving away a FABULOUS $50 voucher to shop at the Simon Says Stamp Store! All you have to do is take out your crafty supplies, make something following this week’s prompt, and add a link in the Inlinkz at the bottom of this post! You can join 5 times so you could have 5 chances to win! How AWESOME is that!! All winners are chosen randomly, so everyone has an equal chance to win! Woo Hoo!! Good Luck to everyone! The Design Team is looking forward to seeing your crafty makes and will pop around to visit you ASAP!
Here is my card for the inspiration.
For this card I used the Life Changing Blender Brush Set from Picket Fence Studios. To begin, I took a piece of white cardstock and blended in from centre outwards. I used Lemon Chiffon and Sunshine dye inks for the petals and Green Apple and Fern for the leaves and stem. I die cut the flower using the Dahlia Stem wafer die from a piece of white cardstock and then trimmed it down using deckled edges dies.
I dry embossed the panel using the gingham stencil. Using fun foam, I foam mounted the stem, leaves and the petals of the flower. For the base, I clear heat embossed a background using Quilted hearts background stamp directly onto the A2 sized Kraft cardbase.
I finished the card off with some vellum butterflies, twine bow and iridescent sequins.
So now it’s YOUR turn. Happy Crafting!
You have until Wed 8 a.m. Ohio time, 1 p.m. UK time and 2 p.m. CET to join in.
New creations only, please don’t link projects published before to start of the challenge.
Do you use Instagram ? If so please add #ssswchallenge to your challenge entry uploads so we can see them on there too !
