MFT Stamps Guest Design – April 2019 – Slimline card with Easter Bunnies

Hi everyone! Wishing you all a very Happy Easter! I couldn’t find a better stamp set to wish you Easter with. I am a Guest Designer with MFT Stamps for this month, and I used their uber cute Sweetest Somebunny stamp set to make a slimline card. My first ever but it was tons of fun!

To start, I stamped all the images on a piece of white cardstock using Cement Grey Ink and did some no line coloring using my copic markers. I added in the details using my Faber Castell Polychromos pencils.

I took a panel of white cardstock and trimmed it down to 3.5 inches by 7.5 inches. I added the grass from the Scene Builder Stamp set and Easter Bunnies stamp set using the same ink.

Around the grass I did some ink blending using Tumbled Glass Distress ink for the sky and Twisted Citron and Mowed Lawn Distress Inks for the grass.

I added in the butterflies from the Sending Hugs Stamp set.

The sentiment was stamped on strips of black cardstock, white heat embossed and placed on the card using foam squares.

The card base measured 4 inches by 8 inches and was made using Neenah Solar White Classic Crest 110 lb cardstock.

I die cut the bunnies using the coordinating dies and placed everything on the card base.

That finished off my card. I hope you liked this one. It was a little different from my usual style, but it was such a welcomed break!

Have a lovely day!
