Here is my card for the inspiration.
For my card I used the Wonderful Florals stamp set and instead of using the big stamp with the flowers around the word, I just picked up the small flowers and leaves and watercolored them using my Daniel Smith watercolors on a piece of cold pressed watercolor paper after stamping them with Antique Linen distress ink.
I die cut the wreath, using the Chisholm wreath wafer die and Kraft cardstock, four times and adhered them all together for a dimensional appearance. I took a panel of white cardstock trimmed down to be slightly smaller than A2 size and using the woodgrain texture die, dry embossed it instead of die cutting it. I also added some paint splatters on it.
I took an A2 sized top folding fog card base and adhered all the elements on it using foam tape. I created a gold embossed background for the sentiment to sit on. The happy birthday was stamped on black cardstock and gold heat embossed.
I finished the card with some sequins. That’s all for my card.
So now it’s YOUR turn. Happy Crafting!
You have until Wed 8 a.m. Ohio time, 1 p.m. UK time and 2 p.m. CET to join in.
